Shout-out to all the athletes that competed in yesterday's Desoto Parish Fitness Meet! These students showed up and showed out! We would especially like to congratulate our NDUE Fitness Team for bringing home the team championship, the overall boy and girl winners, and many individual awards! These kids worked so hard, and the evidence was in the results. Way to go Griffins!
Miss Louisiana also made an appearance, and she was so much fun! Not only did she give the kids a motivational speech, she also got on their level and supported them throughout the meet! Thank you Miss Louisiana! #LEADlikeaGriffin

Mrs. Pierce’s 5th grade ELA students are hard at work demonstrating a variety of skills as they explore the deeper meaning of our unit, "Shutting Out the Sky." It has been exciting to see students collaborate, ask thoughtful questions, and deepen their understanding of history and perspective. 📖
