3rd Grade Meteorologist have been busy this week. We created line plots so we could evaluate lots of data and we analyzed lots of evidence and decided if it was strong or weak. We even made a human line plots on the floor!











NDUE Field Day is fast approaching! Meet us bright and early at Griffin Stadium, May 9th, at 8:30 a.m. for a fun-filled day of competition!


LEAP Testing is upon us here at NDUE, and we are so excited for our students to achieve their personal goals. Attached is a schedule of the days we will be testing and the subject areas that students will test on those days. Congratulation to NDUE's Tucker Jones and Nora Clarke as well as the rest of their Louisianimals Softball Team! They competed in the Mission Impossible Autism Awareness Softball Tournament and finished in first place! In addition to being tournament champions, these two ladies also earned an MVP Award! Congratulations to NDUE's Layla Sikes, Whitley Chadwick, Peyton Posey, Gabby Weir, Vivian Howard, Victoria Inker, Aubrie Heinz, & Tinsley Ratley. These ladies are part of the GymStone All-Stars - Team Onyx which won 1st Place against 8 other teams in their division at The Redline Glow Tour Cheerleading Championship at Ford Center in Frisco, Texas this past Saturday. Mrs. Rawlings' passion and dedication to literacy for all students has proven year after year to inspire and empower not only her students, but her colleagues as well. She is our resident expert in all things intervention. Our staff is blessed to have her as part of our team, and we are immensely grateful for her efforts to grow the capacity of others. Thank you, Jessica, for all you do to improve literacy in our building. You are the cornerstone of our success in reading intervention.
