Twenty-seven students from our JAG-Student Development Association attended the 18th Annual Student Development Conference at the Randolph Riverfront Center in Alexandria. We had students compete in Prepared Speaking, Essay Writing, Creative Decision Making, Ms. JAG-LA, and Art. The Creative Decision Making team consisting of Makayla Hart, Ricky Scott, Demadrick White, and Keylee Wyatt placed 2nd in the state. Hollie Yarbrough placed 1st in the state with her artwork depicting this year’s theme “Embrace Your Future”. Students not competing spent time in breakout sessions enhancing their leadership and career skills.
