School Pictures will be taken on Tuesday, August 20th. Order forms are being given out this week. Order forms and payment should be sent to school on Picture Day - Tuesday, Aug. 20th - with students. Teachers will not be able to hold order forms and we willl not be able to accept order forms in the office. Send the order and payment on Tuesday, Aug. 20th only. Students will wear school uniforms for the pictures.

Parents of Kindergarten and 1st Grade students may walk with their children into the building on Thursday, Aug. 8th on the first day of school. Please escort your students into the cafeteria to meet their class before 7:35. Parents will be asked to leave the building after dropping their student off so our cafeteria does not become to crowded. Students in grades 2-4 will not be escorted into the building. Parents of Kindergarteners starting on Aug. 9th may bring their students to the cafeteria on their first day.

When packing school lunch, please remember that Little Wolverines should not bring soda or energy drinks in their lunch box. All food should be individual servings. For example, please do not send large bags of chips.

Look at how our 1st and 2nd graders are performing in Oral Reading Fluency! The average number of words a 1st grader reads per minute is between 13 and 48. The average for our 1st graders is 59! And the average for 2nd graders is 48-67 and our 2nd Grade average is 92! Readers are achievers so let's keep reading Wolverines!!! #wolverinepride

Good things happen when we make good choices! Look at the results for our Kindergartners! The average number of CVC words a kindergarten student can read at the end of the year is between 1 and 22. The average number of CVC words that the Little Wolverine Kindergarten students can read is 61!
