We're really excited about Sneaker Ball this evening! Here are some notes:
PK-1st Grade begins at 4pm and ends at 4:45pm
2nd-4th Grade begins at 5pm and ends at 6pm
Only MES students should attend.
Parents will drop off students at the door to the gym nearest the building and pay the $5 admission fee. Staff will receive students and supervise them.
Concessions will be sold. All items are $1
Parents will pick up students from the gym door that faces the parking lot. Please be on time.

Awards programs for grades 1-4 will be held on Thursday, May 16th. Students have brought home letters if they will be receiving awards. Times are as follows:
1st Grade - 8:30 (Doors will open at 815)
2nd Grade - 10:30 (Doors will open at 10:15)
4th Grade - 11:45 (Doors will open at 11:30)
3rd Grade - 12:45 (Doors will open at 12:30)
Please come directly to the Multipurpose Room. If you would like to check your student out after the awards program, we will do that from the Multipurpose Room as well.
Today is PreK's Water Day!
Mrs. Thomas', Ms. Wilson's Mrs. McClain's, & Mrs. Wells' PreK classes are having fun in the sun!
1st graders in Mrs. Fonts class is kind and has PRIDE. Reign spent big bucks and invited Keelan. Dandre and Javen worked together to earn time in the game room.
Reminder - Kindergarten Celebration pictures will be taken on Monday. Students should wear jeans and the celebration t-shirts to school. Please send cap and gown if you would like your student's picture made in the cap and gown. Return order forms for additional pictures with your student on Monday, if you want additional pictures. We will not be able to take money through the office. Thanks!!
Field Day Info:
Parents may attend during the games portion of Field Day 9:00 - 10:50 for K-2 and 9:00-10:30 for 3rd-4th Grade. Please park near the bus area. Parents will not accompany students into the building or the gym. Please respect our rules that are in place to keep all of our children safe.
Concessions will be handled with tickets that students will purchase first thing in the morning, so all concession money needs to be sent with students. Purchases will not be made with cash during Field Day and we will not be able to accommodate money being brought to the office. Children must buy their tickets from their teacher first thing in the morning.
Thank you for adhering to these procedures so we can all enjoy Field Day.

Wolverines earn PRIDE Bucks for being kind and having PRIDE. 2nd grader. Michael, earned 40 pride bucks and decided he wanted to take his teacher to the game room with him. Mrs. Howard, his teacher, is having fun with Michael celebrating his success!
Next week (May 6-10) is Teacher Appreciation Week! Please let a teacher know you appreciate them!

Field Day is an exciting opportunity for our students and good behavior is necessary so we can all have fun safely. Any students that receive behavior referrals beginning tomorrow, May 2nd, until Field Day will not be able to participate in Field Day activities. Please help us encourage your student to follow all school behavioral expectations as we finish our school year.
Permission forms for water slides, field day and bounce houses were sent home today. Please return as soon as possible. Please note that some letters had incorrect dates. The correct day for water slide day for K-4th good behavior is May 6th. Field Day for K-2 is May 7th and Field Day for 3rd- 4th is May 8th.
MMS is planning something great for our 4th grade students that will be moving on to middle school next year! Please complete the form linked below so they can get an accurate count for food, etc. Note - this is only for 4th grade students.

LEAP Testing continues this week on Monday and Tuesday for 3rd and 4th graders! Please make sure your students are well-rested, on time each day, and ready to do their best!!

Kindergarten students received a letter this week regarding Kindergarten Celebration. The order form and fee of $25 is due by Friday, April 19th.
Students in K-4th grade were given Field Day shirt order forms this week. Please send shirt orders and payments with your student to give to their teacher. Orders will not be taken through the office. The order deadline is Friday, April 19th
