Today our LHS students had the opportunity to participate and safely view the Solar Eclipse of 2024. Even with the clouds, we were able to catch a great view of the eclipse for a few moments today!

Congratulations to LHS Senior Pitcher Avery Creech on surpassing the 400 career strike out mark this week. Avery and the Lady Tigers are wrapping up regular season play tomorrow in the Buckye Tournament. The Lady Tigers will play Winnfield at 10am & Tigoa at 2pm.

Important Reminder
Any students that drive and park on campus must have a valid drivers license, proof of insurance and a parking permit. Please make sure all students are in compliance with this policy.

Congrats to Roper & Stevie who placed 2nd in the Area II Regional welding competition yesterday. These guys will compete at state in a few weeks.

Yesterday, the Lady Tigers recognized Mrs. Vicki McWhorter for being #thedesotodifference. She goes above & beyond for the Lady Tigers team by fixing a meal or whatever these girls need. Thank you Mrs. Vicki for your continued support & for making #thedesotodifference.

The awards ceremony scheduled for Friday is postponed until after break due to JH cheer tryouts!
