Congratulations to our 2025-2026 Lady Tigers Jr. High Softball team members. Practice will begin Monday from 3:30-5pm. There will be a parent meeting immediately following practice on Monday.

Jr High Girls Basketball tryouts will be tomorrow, Wednesday 9/10/25 from 3:30-5 in the High School Gym. It is open to any girl in grades 6th-8th.

Our second graders had a great and "safe" time learning at Safety Town today.

Mrs. Wheless' class learned valualbe life skills as well as cooking safety skills in the kitchen. They prepared chocolate chip cookies and chicken alfredo.

At Friday's Pep Rally, the PK-5th grade team walked away as winners of the Spirit Competition. For their reward, they may wear jeans and a spirit shirt tomorrow, Tuesday 9/9/25! Congratulations team!!!

Girls in grades 5th-8th wishing to try out for Jr High Softball, tryouts will be held Wed. Sept 10th from 3:30-5 at the LHS Softball field. Tryouts are closed to parents. Please do not arrive until 5pm to pick up your child. They need to bring their equipment and a change of clothes to school with them.

Children 5 and under do not need a ticket.
Touchdown Club passes are only valid at Varsity Football games.
Senior citizen passes and coaches cards are honored at all games.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is a virtual learning day for our students. Students should have work posted in their Google Classrooms. We will have SPT Conferences from 10am-6pm!

Harnessing the power of the sun, Mrs. Remedies 8th Grade students explored renewable energy, heat transfer, and teamwork- all while cooking up delicious solar oven s’mores!

There will be a Pep Rally today at 2:20 in the Elementary Gym. The public is welcome to attend. All car & bus riders will be picked up from the Elementary Gym today after the Pep Rally.

LHS is off to a strong start in our social and emotional learning. Our Tigers big and small are starting with a focus on having a growth mindset. We are excited to see how much we grow!

Our 3rd grade students participated in a gallery walk today in ELA. They enjoyed sharing ideas and commenting on their classmates' work.

There will be Jr. High Football practice on Monday at 10am. All athletes should be ready dressed and ready by 10am.

Just a reminder that in the mornings and afternoons, there will be no car drop offs/pick ups until the buses have completed unloading/loading - even in inclement weather. If someone else is dropping off or picking up your child(ren) please share this information with them.
