LHS Jr/Sr Prom will be April 12th from 7:30-11:30pm at the Rustic Barn in
Keithville. The date/attendance fees for non LHS students or 10th grade LHS students is $50. Any student that is not a LHS student must have an approval form completed. For more information you can email Amy Stroud at amy.stroud@desotopsb.com

The teachers aren’t the only ones educating our students at LHS. Our SRO Coleman Caston was overheard reviewing social studies content with a group of third graders during their lunch yesterday.


Mr. Bush came and read to Kindergarten today in honor of Read Across America Week.



Our welding students competed in the District V Welding Competition today. Congratulations to Drake & Ryan for placing 1st and to Ben and Bryce for placing 3rd.



Employees with the most votes will be announced every Friday unilt the end of the month!


It is time for the Jr. High Prom!


LHS students may wear Mardi Gras shirts tomorrow.

Just a reminder that our LHS Mardi Gras Parade will be tomorrow at 1:30pm in the school parking lot. Line up for the parade is at 1pm.

Maroski Photography will be on campus on March 4th to take Spring Pictures. Order forms are being sent home with grades PK-5. Grades 6-12 may pick up an order form outside of Mrs. Bush's office or in the front office.

LHS students presented a wonderful Black History Month program this morning. Thank you to all of those who participated.

PreK-5th grade students will be celebrating Read Across America Week March 3-7th.


LHS will have their annual Black History Program tomorrow morning at 9:30am in the Elementary Gym.

In case you haven't heard, our Lady TIgers are headed to the Quarterfinals at White Castle Thursday at 6pm.


Our Lady Tigers advance to Round 2! Come out Monday night and let's cheer on our #6 ranked Lady Tigers take as they host #11 Grand Lake in 2nd round basketball playoff action! Tickets are available via the GoFan app!

LHS Elementary & JH/Sr 4H Clubs were well represented at the LSU Livestock Show. Congratulations to Clay, Farrah & Kamyllia who all placed in their respective shows.

Farrah:
Poultry - 1st place 9y/o showmanship, Reserve Champion Jr. Showman, two 3rds and 6th place on birds.
Dairy - 1st place 9y/o showmanship, 3rd place with both heifers.
Goats - 4th place showmanship, 2nd place market goat.
Clay:
Poultry - 4th place 13 y/o showmanship, two 1st place, one 2nd place on birds and Breed Champion & Reserve Champion.
Dairy - 2nd place 13y/o showmanship, one 3rd and two 6th on his heifers and 4th with his cow.
Sheep - 6th place 13y/o showmanship, 4th place lamb







Today's home baseball game begins at 5pm not 6:00 as on the regular schedule. Tickets may be purchased via the go fan app.
