In observance of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Sept 16th - Sept 20th LHS is having CCA Week! Uniform bottoms must be worn everyday except on Friday.
JH softball practice will start this Thursday after school and there will be a parent meeting at 5:00 Thursday following practice.

Due to the expectation of inclement weather Thursday, we are moving the JH game at Many that was originally scheduled for Thursday, September 12, up to tomorrow Tuesday, September 10 at 5:30.
Parents and students below is the District Tardy policy. Students must be at school by 7:35am. Tardies will accumulate on a per class per semester basis. If the student is less than 5 minutes late to class for any period, they should report directly to class. If they are more than 5 munutes late they should be sent to the office to get a tardy slip.

Yesterday our 7th graders attended a Forestry Conservation event hosted by the La Society of American Foresters. Students learned about forest fire prevention & management and forestry conservation.
Due to the weather today, Jr High Softball tryouts will be moved to Monday, September 9th from 3-5pm.
The last day for 4H signups will be September 27, 2024.
Attention K- 3rd grade parents: DIBELS testing will be tomorrow for 2nd & 3rd grades and Friday for K-1st grades. Please make sure students arrive on time and have a good breakfast.
Junior High Softball Tryouts will be tomorrow, Thursday 9/5 from 3-5pm at the high school softball field. Please plan to pick up your child at 5pm at the softball field.
Today's JV game has been moved to Calvary due to current construction at LHS. All JH and JV games will be away until construction is complete.
Attention Parents: Per LHS administration, ALL spirit wear MUST be approved by school administration. Students will not be allowed to attend class with spirit wear that is not approved. If you are purchasing spirit wear outside of what the school is selling, please make sure it has been approved prior to purchase. We have school spirit stores open throughout the year for items to be purchased. Also, any outerwear (jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts) that is not LHS must be SOLID black, purple, gray or white - zero exceptions.
Just a reminder that all DPSB schools will be closed Monday, September 2, 2024 in observance of Labor Day. Tuesday, September 3rd is a Virtual Learning Day for students. Our 1st 9 weeks SPT Conferences will be from 10am - 6pm. We will see our Tigers on Wednesday, Sept. 4th.
