Multi-sensory strategies work by engaging more than one sense at a time. Using touch, movement, sight, and hearing can give students more than one way to reinforce a skill they are learning. Many teachers use these techniques, and you can at home too! Find more details at: https://tinyurl.com/mrztw5f5

Today marks the start of our You Matter Campaign, and we’re excited to begin this journey with all of you! This campaign is a reminder that you are valued, seen, and heard, and we're kicking things off with a focus on self-care.
Taking care of yourself is crucial—not just for your well-being, but so you can be the best version of yourself for your students, colleagues, and community. In our busy lives, it's important to pause, recharge, and focus on our own needs.
Here are a couple of simple self-care tips to get you started today:
Mindful Breathing:
Take five minutes to practice the 4-7-8 method. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7 seconds, and exhale for 8 seconds. This simple technique can help reduce stress and improve focus.
Stand up and do a few gentle stretches, focusing on your neck, shoulders, and back. Stretching helps release tension and brings you back to the present moment.
Why is Self-Care Important?
When we care for ourselves, we build resilience, reduce stress, and improve our overall well-being. Remember, YOU MATTER! Taking care of your mental and physical health sets a positive example for others and shows you value yourself.
Let’s continue supporting each other throughout this week and beyond. Keep the You Matter message in your heart and practice self-care not just today, but every day!
