Tuition Reimbursement

DeSoto Parish is proud to be able to offer tuition reimbursement for many of our certification opportunities. We revisit the availability of funds yearly so applications must be submitted yearly for approval. For the 2024-25 school year, our tuition reimbursement programs are:

School Leadership Team Member seeking Educational Leadership Certification
Support staff seeking teacher certification
Teacher seeking SPED certification
New teachers seeking alternate certification
Teacher seeking certification to teach dual enrollment

Virtual Office Hours with HR for DPSB Staff

Join us for Virtual Office Hours with HR. In addition to office visits, phone and email, these sessions are offered as an opportunity for staff to visit with us about general issues such as questions about certification or add-ons, onboarding, general district policies, etc. We do not promise to know all of the answers immediately, but we do promise to get the answer or get you in touch with the right person if we do not. We look forward to visiting with you!!
