The Desoto Parish Special Olympics are coming to the North Desoto Campus! Attached is a shirt that we will be selling to support this event. Paper copies of the order form will go home this week, or you can use the QR code on the picture to order directly. If you decide to buy one, you will be eligible to wear athletics bottoms on event day! The Special Olympics are going to be October 25th! #LEADlikeaGriffin

Mrs. Bearden's second graders love working in ELA centers! They take AR tests, doing fluency readings, work on their leadership binders, building words with play dough, and dress up in the imagination station! So much fun! #LEADlikeaGriffin





NDUE will have our first S/P/T Conferences on Tuesday, September 5th. Conferences will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Scheduled conferences from 10:00-1:00 and Open House style from 1:00-6:00), and students will have a virtual day. Conferences are student-led, so please bring your student with you. Progress reports will be available at the conference. While you're here, please check out our Graffiti Walls, and leave your child an uplifting message! See message attached for more information. In addition, there will be a school wide PTO meeting following the conferences in the cafeteria at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited. come and see what's happening at NDUE and how you can be involved! Mrs. Burback is our librarian at NDUE. She is the absolute best at getting our students excited to READ with our Accelerated Reader Program! She shares her love of books weekly with her students as they visit the library for a lesson and book check-out. Mrs. Latin is a second grade ELA teacher at NDUE. She is a veteran in the second grade hall and a great help to other teachers in the building. She is a wonderful relationship builder and works hard to not only love her babies but get the very best out of them! Traffic flow around North DeSoto schools has proven to be a challenge. Part of the District 2 bond will go toward improving traffic patterns that aim to alleviate congestion during the opening and closing of school, as well as during major events.
