Today we introduce Mrs. Barkley! Mrs. Barkley is a Fifth Grade Math teacher at NDUE. She is a veteran and a great help to our new teachers. A fun fact is that she is known for being a technology guru, helping with all the new gadgets we have in our classrooms. #LEADlikeaGriffin
Mrs. Severin’s math class is participating in a gallery walk and recording observations on how many rectangles could be made for a given area. Students are discovering what it means for numbers to be prime and composite. What a fun math lesson! #LEADlikeaGriffin
Introducing Mrs. Severin, she is a Fifth Grade Math Teacher at NDUE. Her students love her, because she is kind and lives out the seven habits. A fun fact is that her team loves that she is a great cook and brings the BEST potatoes when they do potluck lunches! #LEADlikeaGriffin

This morning was our A.R. and Math Incentive Kick-Off, and it was a blast! Thank you to the DPSO, NDHS Cheerleaders, and NDYA Cheerleaders and Sponsors for helping to make it such a success! These Griffins are feeling the need, the need to read and do some math! #LEADlikeaGriffin
Ms. Harkins’ class is learning to “Think Win Win” with the story of The Rainbow Fish! This lesson will help students learn to find ways to compromise when working with others and build conflict resolution skills!
