How would the funds from the North DeSoto Bond Plan be spent? More than 75% of the plan is dedicated to educational and academic spaces which impact every student.

The bond plan would impact learners of all ages in the North DeSoto area! High school students would have a future-focused learning environment, middle school students would have amazing lab and career spaces by moving into the current high school, elementary students would see smaller class sizes and get more one-on-one time with teachers, and our three and four year old PreK programs would be able to accommodate more young learners instead of having a waitlist.

NDUE showed up and showed out for Blue Out Day in honor of Aubrey Hubier. #LEADlikeaGriffin #DesotoStrong

The bond plan is about more than just the high school! Additions were made in 2014 at the upper elementary and middle schools and those spaces are now full. While other schools in the area have seen a push for lower class sizes at the elementary level, North DeSoto Lower and Upper Elementary Schools cannot have class sizes decrease further due to space constraints. The plan takes all grade levels into consideration so that students thrive.

In memory of Aubrey Hubier, all students are invited to wear blue tomorrow at NDUE. We will also be collecting donations for her memorial at Stanley High School. Any extra proceeds will go directly to the family. Thank you for your participation and support! #LEADlikeaGriffin #DesotoStrong
