In Mrs. Brown's fifth grade science class, students are learning about mixtures. They are investigating what happens to a solid when you mix it with a liquid by creating their very own salad dressing. These food scientists weren't too sure about their first taste test! #LEADlikeaGriffin
NDUE Fall Picture Day is Thursday, Sept. 14. All students will be photographed for the yearbook. Students may wear regular clothes that align with the DPSB dress code. Picture order forms will be sent home with your student on Wednesday. Order forms will also be available in the office.

The Desoto Parish Special Olympics are coming to the North Desoto Campus! Attached is a shirt that we will be selling to support this event. Paper copies of the order form will go home this week, or you can use the QR code on the picture to order directly. NDUE will have our first S/P/T Conferences on Tuesday, September 5th. Conferences will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Scheduled conferences from 10:00-1:00 and Open House style from 1:00-6:00), and students will have a virtual day. Conferences are student-led, so please bring your student with you. Progress reports will be available at the conference. While you're here, please check out our Graffiti Walls, and leave your child an uplifting message! See message attached for more information. In addition, there will be a school wide PTO meeting following the conferences in the cafeteria at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited. come and see what's happening at NDUE and how you can be involved!
