As a part of Manufacturing Month, the Mansfield Middle School 8th grade JAG students toured Louisiana Delta Technical Community College-Ruston yesterday. The students learned about the programs they offer on their campus as well as other the other locations. Instrumentation, welding, and healthcare were the three programs highlighted on the tour.

🔴MMS ID Badge Policy🔴 Parents, ID Badges are part of our DRESS CODE POLICY. Students were issued ID Badges at the beginning of the school year. If badges become lost, students are required to purchase a replacement ID badge for $3.00 or a temporary badge for $1.00. ID Badges must be worn at all times.

7th graders in Coach Burton's Science class at MMS are explaining why some substances have stronger molecular attraction than others.



Our Terrific Tuesday focus is on Celina. She is a student who works diligently on academics. She earned a 4.0 Average last year with a scores of Mastery and Advance on the State Assessment. She strives to be a good role model for the students in her class. This year she is planning on running for Student Council this year. We are looking forward to seeing her grow further this year. Have a Terrific Tuesday.


The Class of 2031 had a great start reading and were rewarded with an ice cream sandwich. Students who take an Accelerated Reader Test on or above their level and score a 100% will earn rewards each week. Will it be you next? Keep up the good work!

MMS welcomes Mrs. Burton-Westglass as the 7th grade Social Studies teacher! She is a product of Desoto Parish Schools. She has a wealth of talents to enrich our students. She has earned two Bachelor’s Degrees from Grambling State University, one in Political Science and the other in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Her hobbies are sewing, tennis, and writing. She enjoys being with family and friends and loves animals. She believes that "Every student can achieve academic success and be a lifelong learner." Welcome to the Wolverine Family!
