Dear Parents,
Chromebooks issued by the district are a critical part of everyday instruction for all content areas. When a student does not bring their Chromebook charged or bring it to school with low battery or no charge, it hinders instruction and limits productivity. It is our goal to provide all scholars with effective instruction every school day. We reviewed the importance of Chromebooks on the first day of school in the classroom, so each student is aware that they are expected to have a completely charged Chromebook each day of school. When students come with an uncharged Chromebook or no Chromebook at all it creates disruptions and delays in learning. Many students have misplaced their charger. If your child has lost their charger, please take the necessary steps to replace it so they have one. Students are responsible for keeping up with their chargers. Teachers will enter a minor infraction for students who come to school unprepared without a Chromebook and/or charger. On the 4th minor infraction, it becomes a major referral. Thanks for your assistance with this matter.

Featured Frequently Asked Question: What will happen if the bond is not approved?
If the bond is not approved, Logansport will continue to make do with stadium facilities that are past their prime and spaces that are not providing a modern environment, while facing the need to consider other options to address safety and security in our PreK-12 school. Additionally, mobile classrooms would continue to be used to serve our youngest learners and other programs.
