Students in K-3 will be taking their Middle of the Year DIBELS assessment tomorrow. Please make sure that our little Tigers get a good night's sleep and arrive to school in plenty of time to eat breakfast so they can do their best work.

This afternoon the elementary students participated in a math and literacy day. The students rotated throughout different classrooms and engaged in activities focused on strengthening skills in both math and reading.
Our FFA Public Speaking Team competed at the District 5 Public Speaking Contest today. Congratulations to Caroline Magee for placing 2nd with her prepared speech. She will represent the team at the Area competition.
LHS is proud to announce that we have maintained our High Performance from last year with continued growth and for a second straight year earned an A school rating from the LDOE. We are proud of 5 perfect scores in 7 of our highlighted areas. This is a result of our students' hard work as well as our teachers'. At LHS we are committed to a level of High Performance as we strive daily for continued growth.
