This year, NDMS will be performing High School Musical, Jr. Performances will be held February 26th - 28th! We are opening auditions to ALL NDMS students this year! Anyone interested in auditioning can pick up an audition packet in the front office beginning tomorrow, October 3rd! Auditions will be held after school the week we return from Fall Break: Monday, October 14th, and Tuesday, October 15th! You will have all of Fall Break to learn your audition roles! We are looking forward to seeing all of our NDMS talent! Just remember: "We're All in This Together!"

Our mighty NDMS and NDHS Griffin Bands performed at the Griffins vs Falcons game last night. They rehearsed together, taught each other new songs, ate pizza, danced, cheered, played, and had the best time supporting our North DeSoto High School Griffins. ❤️💙 #bettertogether
At this time, NDMS would like to recognize our Teacher of the Year, Ms. Carla McClain. Ms. Carla McClain has served DeSoto Parish Schools for 24 years. She currently teaches 8th grade social studies. She actively participates in SBLC and helps to organize our annual student-led Veteran’s Day program honoring all local veterans. She also leads student service initiatives. Ms. McClain does so much for so many behind the scenes. We could not think of anyone better to represent NDMS.
NDMS would also like to recognize our Support Personnel Member of the Year, Mrs. Eunice Harris. Mrs. Harris lovingly serves all teachers, students, and stakeholders that enter our building each day. There is not a job in this building she hasn’t done. We appreciate all of her humble acts of love and couldn’t be more thankful that she is a member of our NDMS family. We love you, U-NICE!

Shout out to Mrs. Farmer's Strategy WIN students that strategically followed procedures to construct multiple different plane models. They threw them and recorded the flights. Students also used different sizes and thicknesses of paper learning it alters the weight and flying abilities. Their data was used to chart speed.
