
The DeSoto Parish School Board unanimously approvedCapital Improvements bond proposals at their August 3 meeting. In District 2, North DeSoto Schools, the $130 million bond proposal proposes construction of a new North DeSoto High School as well as improvements to other facilities to accommodate growth.

We had a GREAT first day back at NDHS!! Students and teachers spent some time getting to know one another and working through classroom expectations!! It will be nice to begin settling into some routine!



We can't wait to have students back in the halls Monday the 7th at NDHS!! Reminder that parent drop off starts at 7:15, the first bell rings at 7:35 and our new release time is 3:01. See you tomorrow!!!


Another great day at NDHS!! We spent time in construction mode and were “Off to the Races.” What a GREAT group of educators working together to support students in building brighter futures!! What a blessing to be a Griffin!!

Our Griffin Cheerleaders returned from camp having worked very hard as is evident by their many awards!! We are proud of you!!
Herkie Spirit & Leadership Award-voted on by other teams; Technical Excellence Award for motion technique in cheer and chant; Technical Excellence Award for crowd effectiveness in band chant.
Superior Ribbons in all divisions, cheer, chant, and band chant; 6 All-Americans; 4 Seniors who received an invitation to tryout for NCA Staff; A team bid to NCA Competitions for the year.

So excited to bring these three new teachers aboard at NDHS! They have worked very hard the last few days at the Geaux DeSoto Training with the district and are ready to go next week with our staff!


Orientation 23-24 - check!!! It was a very busy day at NDHS but we appreciate everyone's patience. Those that weren't able to join us will be able to get Chromebooks, Supplies, IDs and schedules first day of school!!! No worries!! Please reach out with questions.

Mrs. Brown returns home today from leading her training of future educators. She was selected by the state for this program. She is pictured here with her cohort of students she worked with to include two college students that will begin their internships in the fall. Dr. Brumley also visited with the group and is pictured here with them. Thank you again Mrs. Brown for your support of future educators.
