With the best outcome in mind, Mansfield Middle School values and appreciates the support of the community we serve. This is a unique school year. Approximately 62% of our students are virtual learners and 38% are blended learners. Our learning management system is Google Classroom. This is a one stop shop for the students. Students should login into the classroom daily, view pre-recorded videos, or join a live stream lesson, complete and submit all assignments. We have noticed a few trends. Many learners are not logging into Google Classroom regularly and completing the assignments. Parents, we are approaching the halfway mark of the first nine weeks. If your child hasn’t logged into Google Classroom, joined their classes, and completed all assignments, please have them do so immediately. Their academic success depends on it. This weekend is an excellent time for your child to complete missing assignments. If your child is a virtual learner and does not complete their assignments they will be marked absent, which can become a truancy issue.
We offer live stream lessons or pre-recorded videos for our learners to view daily. If your child can view our live lessons we encourage them to do so. Your child would need to follow their schedule and join their teachers’ classes during their assigned class time. The live lessons are powerful and provide learners with a deeper knowledge and understanding of the lesson. Lastly, inspire your children to do their best and produce high quality work. The learning potential of our students are great. It is our job to ensure they reach their maximum potential, together we will.
