We are excited and ready to welcome our 2024-2025 MHS Wolverines back on campus today. The tardy bell rings at 7:35 a.m., and we dismiss daily at 3:00 p.m. Please bring charged Chromebooks and chargers to school daily.

𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞! A senior sunrise is a long standing tradition among seniors where they come to the school on the first day and watch the sunrise as a class on the football field. We want to start this tradition at MHS this year. Bring your own blanket and breakfast and enjoy some time as a class! Ensure that you are in the gym for morning welcome by 7:30 a.m. Spread the word. 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝: Monday, August 5th 7:45-9:15 Tuesday, August 6th All Day Wednesday, August 7th 7:45-2:00 We will be in professional development meetings, participating in team building activities, attending the DeSoto Parish Schools Convocation and preparing for the first day of school to welcome our students back on Thursday, August 8th! Don't forget that we will be out and about in the community Wednesday morning starting at 10:00 a.m. for the Annual Mansfield Community Parade! Wave at us, and we will honk and throw you some candy! 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝑺𝒆𝒆 𝑼𝒔 𝒂𝒕 𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒏 𝑯𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒆! We know that many of our families have students at Mansfield Elementary, Middle and High Schools, so we are having our Open House on Monday, August 12th. The notice of Open House was mailed out two weeks ago, and we passed out flyers last week. However, we wanted to post a reminder. We passed out important back-to-school information on the metal detectors, backpacks, new cell phone law, Chromebooks, dress code, tardies, and Open House. Thank you to everyone who attended and a huge shout out to our faculty and staff members who volunteered one of their last days of their summer vacation to help out! Due to the low number of responses in regards to participation, unfortunately, Camp Wolverine will be canceled for our incoming freshmen. This saddens us; however, we will still have a team of dedicated administrators, coaches, and teachers who will be on site August 1st, from 9 a.m-2 p.m. Any high school student may come to the school to pick up a hard copy of their schedule. Freshmen and their families may also come to the school that day for school tours. Please note that this will be the only date available for schedule pick up and school tours. Wolverine STRONG!

Vaccines help to keep our schools healthy! Make sure your child’s vaccinations are up-to-date before school starts. The standard ages for School Vaccination Updates are: Age 4, Age 11, and Age 16.

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 Hey 9th grade students, how would you like to leave a mark in a unique way by adding to the school’s decor and history? At Camp Wolverine on August 1st, you’ll have an opportunity to create a legacy tile! Here’s why: 1. Unleash Your Creativity: It’s the perfect outlet to showcase your artistic individuality. 2. Build Community: This will be a great way to bond, meet new people, and make new friends. It can be scary going to a new school. 3. Start a Tradition: When you graduate in 2028, you’ll be able to look up at your tile and remember how much you’ve grown and all the fun you had! It’s your personal investment in creating a space just for you by showing your Wolverine pride. See the attached document for more details! Please note that this is optional. If you do not wish to create and purchase a tile, there will be an additional activity to participate in while some students are creating their tiles. Wolverine STRONG!
