Our March Mansfield High School Student Spotlight is Nick Davis. Nick is a junior here at Mansfield High School. He was nominated by his AP English III teacher, Mr. Dufour.
Mr. Dufour states, “I would like to nominate my AP English student, Nick Davis for the March Student Spotlight. Nick has been in my AP class since August and since day one of taking on challenging coursework, he has had a very perseverant and positive attitude to do his very best each and every day as an AP student. Nick approaches AP with a willingness to learn and strives toward a goal of being college-ready when he graduates from Mansfield High School. It never fails that he always asks about my day or greets me when he passes in the hall. Nick has made tremendous strides as an advanced writer this school year and he continues with those ambitions as he prepares to take the Collegeboard AP Language and Composition exam. Nick exemplifies the qualities of both a student and an athlete with his work ethic, leadership, and positivity. It has been a true joy teaching him this school year.”
Congratulations, Nick! We are truly blessed to have students like you who are caring and perseverant while taking Advanced level courses here at Mansfield High School. At this time, there is an administrator in Mr. Dufour’s class where he is being presented with a gift card of his choice. Again, congratulations, Nick Davis! 💚🖤
