Each year, Louisiana Teachers and Principals of the Year across the state are celebrated by Dream Teachers at a Gala in Baton Rouge. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the Gala will not be held in Baton Rouge. However, Dream Teachers will host a Virtual Award Celebration on August 24, 26, and 28. Our very own, Ms. Nakia Graham, Mansfield High School teacher, was a state semi-finalist for High School Teacher of the Year. On Monday, August, 24 at 6:00 PM, the State Semifinalists will be recognized. Be sure to tune in on Monday to the Gala and support Nakia. We are so proud of Nakia! #DeSotoServes #LAExcellentEducator
