Feb. 13th - Mardi Gras - Wear purple, green and/or gold

Good choices pay off! Fourth graders, Braylan and Ja'Leigh earned, saved, and spent 40 PRIDE Bucks to play in the game room with a friend. Braylan invited Kel to the game room, and Ja'Leigh invited Armoni. Third grader. Chyna invited Major. Everyone had a great time!
Second graders in Mrs. Fort's science class are busy making glue with salt and baking soda and investigating to see if they work.
Mansfield Elementary/Middle School, DeSoto Parish School Board, and DeSoto Regional Health System are partnering to provide school-based tele-health for students who enroll in this program. Permission forms with more information will be sent home with students next week.

MES Super Celebration for the 3rd nine weeks is coming. The Glow Party event is March 15th. Students must meet classroom behavior goals and have no major referrals to receive an invitation.
Doors will open for the Christmas Program tomorrow at 8:45. Guests should enter through the doors by the flagpole. For anyone checking out students after the program, check-outs will be handled from the Multipurpose Room. No one will need to enter the office. However, remember that our PBIS Celebration will take place tomorrow afternoon.
Mrs. Font.’s and Miss P.’s first grade class used their habits of character to decorate gingerbread houses. Oh , what fun they have had working together getting ready for Christmas!
We will have concessions tomorrow (Wednesday) instead of Friday!

We'll be celebrating BIG next week! Each day there are fun activities and students may dress up/down for the day's theme. The Christmas Program and Super Celebration are Thursday. Parents may check students out in the office after the program. Parties are Friday.
Students return to school on Tuesday, 11/28. SPT Conferences will be held on Monday, 11/27 between 10am and 6pm.

MES students, families, and staff are kind and caring! Our kiddos packed 150 boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We are sending them out into the world to spread a message of peace and love!
