Our NDMS Griffins enjoyed participating in the DeSoto Parish #YouMatterCampaign last week reminding each of us that we are valued, seen, and heard. Monday kicked off with a focus on self-care. Tuesday’s focus was kindness counts. Wednesday was the power of reflection and using open dialogue exploring “Talk About It” techniques. Thursday’s and Friday’s focuses were being hopeful and having gratitude.
Our NDMS talented art students had a great day at The ClayGround Louisiana yesterday. These talented Griffins showed off their creativity with their amazing pottery pieces.
NDMS Crafting and Career WIN along with our gifted students had so much fun and learned a lot at Whisk Dessert Bar's king cake class this week!! They learned about the business and baking sides of the local bakery. They also enjoyed lunch and creating their own king cakes.
Congratulations to our NDMS robotics Team A and Team B that received an invitation to the Louisiana State V5 Middle School Championship based on their Robotics Skills Challenge performance. Way to go! We are proud of you! We know you will represent the Griffins well!
