Reminder Middle Griffins: our NDMS FCA winter coat drive is in full swing. We welcome donations of new or gently used children to adult sizes of coats, jackets, hoodies, hats, scarves, and sweaters. Collection continues until Wednesday, December 3.

Our NDMS Griffins did an amazing job with our Veterans Day ceremony. We were happy and proud to honor our Veterans. It was our privilege to host such a special student led ceremony with refreshments prior, allowing our Veterans to visit with their Middle Griffin family.

All students listed have met the scoring requirements and will be placed in the top LMEA District VIII Middle School Honor Band, meeting and performing in January. 👏🏼👏🏼
Their recordings will be sent on to Round 2 All State Auditions to be judged against the students from around the state to see if they will make the Louisiana All State Honor Band.
There are still seats for the top Middle School District Honor Band that were not filled at this audition, will be filled at the December 6th audition for District Honor Band.
Congratulations to all of those who showed up and played their hearts out, good luck to those moving on to the next round of All State, and good luck to those preparing for the district honor band auditions!

At this time, NDMS would like to recognize our Student of the Year and the DeSoto Parish Middle School Student of the Year, Ms. Tinlee Cardone. Tinlee is a great example of what it means to Learn, Lead, and Serve here at NDMS. We would also like to recognize Olivia Robinson as our Teacher of the Year, Kobe Gill as our New Teacher of the Year, and Abby Lacour as the Support Staff of the Year for our school and the parish.
