We were so excited to recognize our new teachers last night at the game as part of our ND and DeSoto Difference. We were missing a few that were either on the field with the team or not able to make it. We are excited to have all!!!

Show support for DeSoto Special Olympics by purchasing the 2023 TShirt. Special Olympics will be hosted at the ND campus on October 25th. Students and staff that purchase the tshirt will be allowed to wear their T-shirt and athletic shorts to show support for the athletes that day. We wish them luck as they prepare and participate. Students in Spanish 1 were working on presentations describing themselves in Spanish. They practice their speaking skills and pronunciation. Some funny things they came up with was: mi persona favorita es Ryan Reynolds. #NDHS4L
Environmental science students doing a hands on activity to understand what the Theory of Island Biogeography is. #NDHS4L
English I students led mini Socratic seminars centered around healthy debates on whether or not the current age restrictions of certain privileges such as drinking, driving, and voting should be raised, lowered, or stay the same. Students utilized provided sources but also were required to gather their own credible sources in order to refute anticipated counterclaims. It was neat to see students take on the role of the facilitator! #NDHS4L
