The high schools in DeSoto Parish offer various career pathways to prepare students for postsecondary education and/or work.  A career pathway is designed to place students in the appropriate courses beginning in ninth grade and carrying on throughout their high school career, and thereafter, that align with postsecondary endeavors.  Furthermore, it helps students make decisions on how to acquire knowledge, skills, and expertise required to enter the workforce successfully in a chosen career.
